Seems to be a long, hard road if you ask me ....

Mom's on Call would tell you to lock them in their room and "not to worry" about one waking the other. Not sure I could do that one either.

So, yeah, I'm of no help here. But I hope you figure it out soon so that when I inevitably deal with this in a few months you'll have advice for me :)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06839665672705052784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36379445.post-20945255350906366932012-04-09T09:50:53.156-04:002012-04-09T09:50:53.156-04:00Nilsa - I don't think I am up for it...it will...Nilsa - I don't think I am up for it...it will be a HUGE project, and I am not sure that I am ready for my life to be dominated like that for 8-12 months.

Cindy - SuperNanny clearly never had to deal with a screaming fit waking up the other baby;-) And we have already tried waking her up earlier, taking shorter naps, etc. She goes to sleep when she darn feels like it!Accidentally Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01869100744451468800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36379445.post-9164848249678888012012-04-07T18:05:50.903-04:002012-04-07T18:05:50.903-04:00OH, re LK's bedtimes.

This already sounds easier said than done. =Pcindyhttp://cindy.ocliw.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36379445.post-20064631150226048402012-04-07T17:59:32.878-04:002012-04-07T17:59:32.878-04:00The only solution to the sleeping in her own bed t...The only solution to the sleeping in her own bed thing is something I saw on SuperNanny, but I don't know if it applies to 2 yr olds.

Basically, you put the kid to bed. Kid pops up and goes to your bedroom. You pick the kid up, saying softly and lovingly, "It's bedtime, sweetheart," and take her back to her bedroom, tuck her into bed silently. Then you leave. If she pops up again, NO talking to her this time, just pick her up, silently put her back to her bed. Do the silent return to bed as many times as it takes and they somehow get that it's fruitless to keep doing this, and they stay in bed at a point and sleep.

I can look at my sleep book to see if Dr. W has any suggestions.cindyhttp://cindy.ocliw.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36379445.post-22397378681640325382012-04-06T15:11:08.612-04:002012-04-06T15:11:08.612-04:00TAKE THE TOWNHOUSE, OMG! An opportunity like that ...TAKE THE TOWNHOUSE, OMG! An opportunity like that won't come along again. Plus you get to put your very own stamp on it. Or, you could always move to Wellesley ... ha.

Sleep ... I wish I had an answer for you. Our answer is to move a queen sized bed into Gavin's room. So, when he has rough sleep, I sleep with him in his room. And Sweets gets our bed to himself. I'm guessing you don't have that kind of room.

I can't believe the girls are almost 2... where did the last 24 months go???

BTW, I think our children must someday meet. Because, Gavin? Can stay up "partying" with the best of them ... and sometimes sleeps in for us, too.Nilsa @ SoMi Speakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08474642034399063234noreply@blogger.com
