Dreams

I had a very lengthy, very vivid dream last night about my Mother.

We were sitting at a restaurant having a perfectly normal, adult conversation about my sister, my daughters and all sorts of other family-related things.

Seeing as I never once had a normal, adult conversation with my Mother, I am not totally sure where that came from. I would also like to note that, in my dream, she was much more put together than she ever really was. I dreamed her prettier than she was.

And nicer, too.

that's interesting. I've been having some crazy dreams lately and would love for someone to analyze them! :)

This got me really teary-eyed. I'd like to think it really was your mom you were having a conversation with and that wherever she is now it's a better version of herself. I have dreams of having conversations with my mom, too, but they are a lot fewer and farther between than I'd like. It's so hard not to be able to call her up and ask her questions like I want!

Rebecca (you can do a "search" for her on my blog if you don't already know who she is) says that dreams about those who've passed are not dreams, but really visits. Your mother is well-adjusted because she's back to her normal spirit self, not the too-human (i.e. imperfect) earth-version of herself. She's also prettier because on the Other Side, everyone is about 30 and healthy and vibrant. =)
