Inspired by Jenny's shoe shopping yesterday....can we discuss Gladiator style shoes?
I am really torn. I think there are some heels that are absolutely gorgeous, and I have seen some flat sandals that I like, too...but I also find that they often look really cheap and kinda cheesy. And I am not sure that I have figured out the rules to differentiate the two.
Please discuss. And while you are at it, talk about how adorable golf shoes are:-D

Only some golf shoes. Others try too hard to look like regular running shoes and it ruins the fun. Meg and I have matching bad ass puma golf shoes - they even came with that corny flap thingie. Love!
I HATE gladiator style shoes.
not a fan of gladiator shoes what so ever! a friend just bought a pair and asked my opinion and I hated them. She took them back b/c she really hated them too but felt like she had to buy them b/c they are in. I will not give in to that look! :)
Ummm.. no on the gladiator shoes, yes on the golf shoes.
No, I don't like gladiator shoes. Some of the less-hardcore-gladiator style ones are not too bad, especially the ones in the tame pastel colours, but overall I'm not keen.
I'm not a fan of the gladiator style shoes at all. I think that no matter how you wear them, they look messy. Maybe messy isn't the right word? Anyway, no go.
Golf shoes on the other hand....
Sorry, I'm putting my two cents in here.
I really like gladiator shoes. They're convenient and can be dressed up or down and mine are really comfortable! And for someone who is tall, it's nice to have a summer shoe option other than flip flops!
That said, I think a shoe that you have to be choosy with. I wouldn't go super cheap. I love them in black!
